SDEA is offering those in becoming a National Board-Certified Teacher the opportunity to participate in Jump Start. The two-day training will be July 22–24 at the Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center in Oacoma.

September 22–24 — South Dakota Indian Education Summit

The South Dakota Indian Education Summit targets South Dakota PK-16 educators of all content areas, as well as administrators and school board members. The goal of the summit is to provide training on best practices in the field of Indian education, for educators of both majority and minority American Indian student populations.
