SDEA is looking for a full-time staff member to support education employees in the South Dakota. The Director of Professional Development creates and conducts professional development for SDEA’s members though in person and online delivery methods. This position manages SDEA’s online learning management system and creates and manages SDEA’s catalog of online courses. Additionally, this position provides relevant professional development through large group presentations, small group seminars, and small learning community cadres. The position also interfaces with the SDEA Government Relations Director and the South Dakota Department of Education to work on professional practice policy and its implementation.

MA +30 and previous experience with online course development and learning management systems preferred.
The position has the possibility of being a remote position with the expectation of extensive travel within South Dakota.
