What is SDEA-Retired?
SDEA-Retired comprises current and former SDEA/NEA active members who have joined together to achieve improvement in retirement benefits, to find new opportunities for fun and learning and to stay actively involved in improving education and retiree life.
Representation
The SDEA-Retired President holds a voting seat on the SDEA Board of Directors
SDEA-Retired members are eligible to be elected as delegates to both the NEA Representative Assembly and the SDEA Representative Assembly.
Members are eligible to vote for SDEA-Retired Officers and SDEA Officers.
