Local Excellence Award

The SDNEA-Student Program Local Excellence Award is designed to recognize a student local that has achieved excellence throughout the year in providing programming for its members and opportunities of leadership and professional growth.

One award will be presented to a local.  The winner will be announced at the Spring Conference/Representative Assembly in March.

What qualities do you feel make your local an outstanding local?  (150 words or less)  Include examples of CLASS and SOAR grants, meetings, involvement of members in local, state, and national association events, American Education Week activities, newsletters, etc.  (You may attach a sheet if necessary.)
